The Lock Challenge

Saturday 13th May 2023

The Lock Challenge is part of the Spring Canal Festival (13th & 14th May 2023) and brings you a choice of a 10mile, 5 mile or 5K run or walk.
The various distances all follow the river Frome on the outward journey and the existing Severn-Thames Canal on the way back.  The 10 & 5 mile routes also include a section where the missing canal will be in 3 years time.  In addition, the 10 mile route continues along the river all the way to Saul Juntion, where the Severn-Thames Canal joins the Sharpness Canal.
