Nailsworth-Selsley-Woodcehster Park (Week 48/14)

When you live in such a beautiful environment, there’s nothing better than getting out for a run a seeing for yourself, no matter the weather conditions.

This weeks Sunday run was foggy with a chilly silence in the air, but with both groups well prepared the run began by following the cycle track, the old disused Stonehouse to Nailsowrth Railway line (aka the Dudbridge Donkey Line) towards Woodchester from Nailsworth.  Then at Dunkirk Mill, heading across the A46 to Chrystal Fountains and up past Atcmobe Woods and Bown Hill to Pen Woods.

Continuing along to Stanley Woods and towards Coaley Peak, before entering Woodchester Park.  A gradual descent down to Woodchester Mansion for Mary’s group, whilst the other group added a hilly loop around the back of the mansion.  Following the path and tracks out of Woodchester Park, the run then returned back along the cycle track to Nailsworth (or adding a loop to Frogmarsh Mill first).

a great offroad trail run, with the sun poking out towards the end.  Thanks to Mary for leading a group and to Tara for the Photos
