Route information

Yes, the route is clearly marked with black and orange chevrons.

However, it is your responsibilty to familiarise yourself with the route.

There are viewable & downloadable maps, gpx files and route descriptions available on the individual event pages.

If you experience any issues or have questions about the routes, please get in touch before race day.

Signs are securely placed on public highways, footpaths & bridleways, which means that on rare occaisions some are removed or damaged by the public.

Therefore, although we do our very best to ensure a completely marked route, Iamoutdoors can’t be responsible for signs being removed and for your navigational errors.

There are toilets at Race HQ, about 50m from the start/finish line.

However, this is a trail event in the countryside.  There are public toilets, pubs and retail areas close to the route, but there are none on the event route itself.
Please visit the Countryside Code website for more advice

There is also some small snacks available for the longer distance events. See individual event pages for full details.

There a some marshals on the route and at all checkpoints.

There are marshals at road crossing and certain points along the route where there are likely to be lots of runners closley bunched.  As this thins out marshals will gradually stand down.

These marshals are in addition to all the signage, therefore without them the route is still clearly marked.
