This Iamoutdoors event, a marathon in this countryside, Wow. I've ran all their other events over the last few years, which tease you with various parts of the Cotswolds, but this event offers it all, beautiful countryside, amazing views, tough hills and a great challenge

Yes, the route is clearly marked with black and orange chevrons.
However, it is your responsibilty to familiarise yourself with the route.
There are viewable & downloadable maps, gpx files and route descriptions available on the individual event pages.
If you experience any issues or have questions about the routes, please get in touch before race day.
Signs are securely placed on public highways, footpaths & bridleways, which means that on rare occaisions some are removed or damaged by the public.
Therefore, although we do our very best to ensure a completely marked route, Iamoutdoors can’t be responsible for signs being removed and for your navigational errors.
There are toilets at Race HQ, about 50m from the start/finish line.
However, this is a trail event in the countryside. There are public toilets, pubs and retail areas close to the route, but there are none on the event route itself.

There are 12 Checkpoints in the Stroud Trails event.
All these will have water available.
There is also some small snacks available for the longer distance events. See individual event pages for full details.
Note: It’s is compulsory to carry a 500ml water container for all distances.
There a some marshals on the route and at all checkpoints.
There are marshals at road crossing and certain points along the route where there are likely to be lots of runners closley bunched. As this thins out marshals will gradually stand down.
These marshals are in addition to all the signage, therefore without them the route is still clearly marked.
There is parking at the school for about 30 cars and another 30 at the back of the church.
The rest of parking is local street parking
Race HQ is the school hall.
Registration opens from 5am and closes 15mins before your race start.

There will be portable toilets in the school car park and public toilets 50m opposite the church.
The Start is on the common at the end of the school grounds, approx. 100m
